Many inkjet printers are sold at very low margins as the companies expect to get more profits from their supplies. The prices of inkjet cartridges are very high. You can also look for an option of refilling the cartridges. Many people prefer refilling inkjet cartridges instead of buying new ones. But the quality of the prints taken from a refilled cartridge will not be that high. If you are not that much cared about the quality of the print you can happily go for refilling your printer cartridges. You can also refill your cartridges at your home. It will just take 5 to 10 minutes. Low quality printer refilling kits may produce poor print quality. So it is better that you refill your inkjet cartridges using a good quality ink.
